Why are Bobcats a nuisance?

Bobcats bring danger to your livestock and pets.

Bobcats (Lynx Rufus): Bobcats prefer rabbits and hares but will also consume insects, rodents, chickens, turkey to mammals as large as deer.  It is an elusive predator that is seldom seen, but the damage caused by these felines are unmistakable.  The bobcat is crepuscular meaning it moves three hours before sunset until about midnight and before dawn until three hours after sunrise.

Exclusion: Methods would include excluding holes or openings in facilities harboring poultry and/or livestock.  Call C.R.N.A.C.

Zoonoses: Diseases that can be passed to humans from bobcats are Canine Distemper, Feline Distemper, Rabies, Mange, and Internal and External Parasites such as fleas, ticks, mites, and Dermatomycosis (Ringworm).
