Raccoon (Procyon Lotor):

Raccoons are opportunistic feeders.  They are omnivores.  This mammal’s diet consists of fruits, berries, acorns, nuts, insects, worms, frogs, fish, turtles, mice, crayfish, clams, snails, eggs, young birds, and reptiles. They raid gardens, orchards, field crops,  bird feeders, pet food, and garbage cans.  Raccoons are the most efficient climbers in the animal kingdom. Raccoons gain entry to homes and businesses by damaging soffits, roofing materials, shingles, and louvers.  Raccoons like to reside in attics.  Raccoons are nocturnal. On average they weigh 12-36 lbs. and are 26-38 inches long.
