How can chipmunks become a nuisance?

Chipmunks are known to cause damage by burrowing under porches, stairs, patios or even into foundations, which could cause damage to there structures.  Chipmunks are bird feeder raiders and pet food. Chipmunks will also do some damage to your gardens, eating flowers, seeds and will dig uprooting plants. They can carry fleas,lice, mites, worms and botflies.

 

 

What are Signs of the chipmunk?

Chipmunks will dig holes about 2″ in diameter with no mound in front. They will leave gnawed nut shells. If your gardens are uprooted, seeds are disappearing, flower bulbs are gone it’s more than likely a chipmunk.
